After a year full of many self-reflective episodes, it feels important to ring in this first day of the new year with a list of in’s and out’s informed by what I’ve learned in 2024. Despite breaking my wrist (my first ever broken bone btw) 3 days before New Year’s Eve, I had the best New Year’s Eve I’ve ever had. Time was very well spent delivering cookies to firefighters, getting a tour of the fire station, and then coming home to make a “hear me out” cake with my friends. Last night alone led to some great additions to my list of in’s and out’s for 2025, so without further delay…
